Moving again!

Last week we finally made the decision that we are moving to Peru in August.  What could've been a sad thing for the kids was thankfully turned on its head by the fact that Peru is the place we're going to! Now they're super excited -- primarily about family of course but now they've also started thinking about decorating their new rooms (although we won't get a new apartment until probably December so we'll have to live with Jose's grandma until then) and being able to take soccer lessons, tennis lessons, dance lessons, swimming lessons, you name it lessons.  Finding schools has been a challenge though so we're still working on that which is really the most important thing at this point.  I was also an emotional wreck at the end of last week when we had to say goodbye to the kids' teachers, friends and parents after two wonderful school years at Ecolint. We will never forget their teachers and friends, such a wonderful group of people from all over the world. :(

But this video from last night definitely makes me happier, especially thinking how Sebas will be if we ever go to watch Peru play at the stadium in Lima! He was a bit emotional last night during Spain's victory match over Italy in the UEFA Euro 2012 Final. The part that cracked me up the most was him crying at the end.

We are looking forward to enjoying our last few weeks in Switzerland, then having Paloma come visit us so we can all go to London together for the Olympics and then making a super simple (NOT!) transcontinental move to our new home.  There we will eagerly await my mom's visit in October for Gabi's 7th birthday and Halloween while enjoying the most amazing food in the world (must start dieting now!). Gabi and I are also particularly excited about being able to get mani/pedis again on the weekends. It's been too long! But for $5 I think we have definitely earned the right to add them to our list of girly weekend activities. :)

Oh, and if you want to give us design advice I more than welcome it.  Gabi has decided she wants a "weather desk" room and Sebas wants a Formula1 room.  Here are the Pinterest boards for "pinspiration"!

Not to mention if you want to come visit us in Peru (after December when we will move into our apartment), we will be super happy to have you!

Felicidades! Can't wait to see the final product.

) We'll see.

Un abrazo. -Jessica

Good luck to you too! I know despues de que tenemos hijos estas decisiones no se toman "lightly". Espero que todo te salga bien! No yo seria con otra compania no con Alicorp. Idealmente encuentro algo FLEXIBLE! :)
