Fall weather

Well Jose was pretty much out of commission for most of the weekend so we didn't do too much except grocery shopping and go out to eat! The higlight of the weekend was going to the park yesterday after Sebas' nap to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.  I'm not happy at all about how cold it is these days but yesterday afternoon was awesome.  We just lay there on the grass soaking up the sun as the kids ran around chasing each other and tumbling and whatnot.  Once we got back home a couple of kids were out playing ball in the street and then once Sebas, Gabi, Jose and I joined it's like they started crawling out of the woodwork to play ball.  It's pretty interesting to see that happen everytime we go out in the street to play ball.  Gabi met two of the neighborhood kids who are Swedish so she was so happy that she met a girl who spoke English, she wouldn't shut up talking to her and meanwhile the girl is telling her to please keep her eye on the ball.  Gabi could care less about the ball she was just in it for the conversation.  :)  Guess who's daughter she is.  She kept telling her about this second cat she's adopted.  She's decided she's adopted a kitten because she wants a "baby cat" on top of the adult cat.  I wonder if that's a good idea they say it's good for a cat to have company but I wonder if Borges is too old to get company. Speaking of which...

Borges continues his escapades I think it's just his new MO.  So most nights I gotta leave the door open so he can come in whenever he decides to which is not great because even though this seems like a pretty safe place who knows and also because it lets the cold in! I wish I had one of those little cat door openings. :)  One night last week I didn't even realize he was out so he slept outside all night and I only realized when I woke up the next morning and went into the kitchen to get a bottle for Sebas and saw him outside the door with a sad look on his face!

The kids (especially Gabi) are also ecstatic with all the new clothes Dad got from the US.  Now we just gotta clean out all the stuff that doesn't fit them anymore which is a huge undertaking especially with these closets where you can't hang everything up so it's very hard to see what all is there.
